Recruiting Via E-Mails

Topic: Technology| No Comments »

When you use recruiting software there are a lot of things to keep in mind. One of them is how important it is to use your recruiting software to recruit via email. There are several advantages for using emails for recruiting. What you should look for in your staffing software is a feature that is capable of checking email addresses and ensuring they are all working addresses. If you are emailing to addresses that are no longer valid the SMTP and POP servers will know that. And, they could blacklist you because of it. That is the last thing you want to happen because it could negatively impact your global marketing campaign. So, you can see how important it is for your recruiting software to only be sending to valid email addresses.

The next important step is to ensure that you don’t have multiple entries of the same address in the system. The same principle applies here and if you are sending multiple emails to the same email address then the POP server could choose to blacklist you. Again, this will not work well for you.

The software should also keep logs of all recruiting emails sent with every validation run. The reason this is important is in case there is a very high number of deferrals or refusals from emails sent. Then, a person can review the referrals rather than the computer.

Also, any SMTP server should be available for use by the recruiting emailing software. This means that the emails sent should be able to be either authenticated or anonymous. Usually, authenticated should be used because the vast majority of people will not accept emails from anonymous servers.

These are just the basics to what you should look for in recruiting management software. All of the software is a little bit different but most of the good ones offer what you are looking for. Just do some research to find the one that is right for you.

With air travel nearly doubling in the 21st century, Airplane GPS is set to provide the cornerstone of future air traffic management. Unlike ground based equipment, satellite navigation allows for accurate aircraft position determination anywhere on or near the surface of the earth. These new systems will maintain high levels of safety while reducing airport delays and increasing airway capacity. The FAA’s stated objective is to establish a satellite based navigation system for all phases of flight.

SkyGeek.com is a website that stocks Aviation GPS units, and a variety of other items that will really please the pilot on your list this season. The AvMap EKP-IV is one of the best portable navigation systems available for the aeronautical market. With a 7” color LCD display the screen is easy to read even in bright sunlight. The unit can be operated in either landscape, or portrait mode, thanks to the convenient placement of buttons along the outside of the case. The 128 MB compact flash slot allows for map and other software upgrades. The Aircraft GPS also has an integrated road chart, and Jeppesen database with alerts for towers and other obstacles.
